My first job was at Hopkins Health Care Center, where I got paid $6.95 an hour to care for skilled care elderly adults. What I remember most about it is that I worked with most of my friends and we got a bit out of control with partying after work. My first crush was Chris Nelson. He is now in Texas. He married and divorced. He still has issues with follow through and relationships. Guess drugs will do that to a person. I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. Still think it would have been a good career but injury caused my plans to take a drastic turn. Hanging out with family and friends is my choice to unwind. Laughter still is the best medicine. My mother was my hero. She was amazing and raised six children as a single parent. Still wonder how we lived. Kids today are much more vocal but still do pretty much the same things we did in our youth. My current age is 45. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be so out of touch. I was so completely wrong.
