Gail's Story

I left south FL in 1961 to go to nursing school in Atlanta, GA. I met my husband, Frank Smith, soon after on a blind date and we married in 1962. I graduated from nursing school in 1964. Frank and I celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary in 2009! We have 3 children who have blessed us with 7 beautiful grandchildren! I went on to pursue...Expand for more
my BSN and MSN in nursing and have recently retired from full time work. I am happy to be teaching part-time after about 40 years of working in the nursing field. We have lived in GA, TN, and now NC since 1981. We finally have time to pursue my interest - traveling - and my husband's interest - motorcycling. We are having a great time!
