Written2008-----1968--April 6th --I married Dave and moved to Fresno, where he went to Fresno State College. We learned to water ski on Millerton Lake. Had great fun. When he graduated, we moved to Hayward, Ca. and He went to work for Owens-Illinois Glass Co. and I went to work at a bank, and went back to college. We moved to Forestville, Ca. and Dave went to work for Korbel Winery and AppleTime. I had one son and one daughter. In 1980 moved back to Bakersfield with 2 children, 2 cows, and 2 turkeys. We bought a place west of town that had 2 acres--We raised cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, pheasants, dogs, and cats. I went to work for the Rosedale School district in Bakersfield as an aide in the 1rst grade. I worked there 14 years until I opened up a Bridal store in Bakersfield.
