Gail's Story
Can't believe it's been forty years since Les Elites strutted across the stage at the Hollywood Bowl.
Dolly, Eric, Barbara, Joe-Joe, Hiram...anybody seen Shahan? I had a great time being a senior class cheerleader. Cheering at rallies in the quad. Hiram, can you still hit the deck like you used to?
Remember those 15 cent hot dogs at the little store on the corner, (Nick's?) and how the owner would heat the buns on top of the coffe pot? The Motown hits and Afro contests.
Yes, Ida Davis is still my best sister/friend. She's living in Liberia, and living well. I have a product called "King's Pepper" that comes from Nigeria. I sell it at the Hollywood Farmer's Market on Sundays. Far cry from the years I spent in TV production.

r of high school. She is now married, living in Durham, North Carolina and is the mother of 3 boys. The oldest attends Florida A&M and plays french horn in the "Marching 100" band. They marched in the Inagural Parade in January at the request of President Obama.
In 1980, my second child, also a girl, was born. Felicia was raised in San Francisco by her father. She's now residing in Gent, Belgium, working on her Dutch and preparing for grad school. Her beau, Ivan Borresman is a fine young man.
I really enjoyed our 35th reunion. Had a great time at Crenshaw's 40th. Check out the photo of me and my date, Michael Lewis. I went with him to his 40th reunion. He started out at Dorsey and was transferred to Crenshaw when it opened, so he's got ties to both schools.
Look forward to seeing the Dorsey Don's and Donna's again.
