Gail's Story

It is now Sept 2016 and I have upgraded my now photo to reflect the changes though I am letting my hair go to its natural color soon, as every haircut takes a little more blonde off, will see what it looks like natural as I now have natural curly hair which I probably had most of my life but hairdressers did not know how to cut it to bring curls and waves out, but good time to discover it as easy to style, just let it go whatever way it wants with just a little help from ne. Will post another picture when all hair color is natural. Hoping we do get to plan a class reunion soon as none of us are getting any younger and going 10 years does not seem like a good option, as we have lost a few since our 50th, so hoping not to wait until 60th for a reunion, anyone interested in helping get in touch with Sandra Bisil on Classmates as she mentioned it to me and since I am in FL I can help a little via internet and do have class listing from the 50th, but she needs someone to take an interest and help who still lives in the area! Gail Johnson Hughes in FL September 8th, 2016! Oh and by the way my grandson is graduating in the spring so if we had one then I would only have to travel to MA once in 2017, just saying!! I have scanned in our yearbook pictures and printed them all out on cardstoc...Expand for more
k and hope to collect as many new signatures on the pages as we did when we got them our senior year. My yearbook is a mess so that is why I have scanned the pictures in and even done a Power Pointe presentation on a CD so if they have a computer there anyone can see the pictures of our glorious Senior Year! I remember all 4 years as being the best time of my life and knew almost all of my classmates at least to say hi to and a lot were close friends from 5th grade through 12th, so I hope to see as many of the Class of 1961 at the 50th (can you believe 50 years have passed since graduation?). I can't and don't feel old enough most days except when I first get up as I am not a morning person and now that I am retired I don't have to get up early very often. So, hope to see as many of you as I can when I fly to MA from FL in October. Don't let the class down as we were always the ones that had the best reunions and I am so happy this one will not be in a real fancy place because then we can really get a chance to talk and exchange phone and email addresses so we can keep in touch in the future. I hope to see as many of our class as are able to make it and if I can travel from Florida, I hope a lot of you will also be there too. Your classmate, Gail Johnson Hughes "See you in October"
