Life
My Spouse
I was living in Anchorage, AK. at the time I met my husband, Jeff. I actually met him through his mother. She was realterring a dress she had made for me the year prior(I was a maid of honor at a friends wedding, she made the dress). I was to go to my Co. Christmas party with my date and wanted to be dressed up so I called her up just days before the Co. party and asked if she would mind realterring the dress. The day I went to her home for the alterations was the day she introduced me to her son, Jeff. The day of the party I tried the dress on and of course I wanted a man's opinion of the dress(wanted my date to like it:)) so I went out to the living room where Jeff was sitting on the couch and asked his opinion...well needless to say I got it...:) The next day Jeff came into the store where I was working and asked me out for a date(the gentleman that I attended the party with broke up with me that night due to unfortunate circumstances). I promptly said "YES"...:). Our first date was Dec. 13, 1989. :) We were first married in April 17th, 1993, divorced in May of '97. By God's grace and love we reconciled and were remarried in Nov. 13th, '99. God is AWESOME!!!!!!:)
My Pets
I have three wonderful cats. A black cat by the name of Asti (my husband's relatives/some of them are from Asti, Italy) and a black/white cat by the name of Patches. Asti is sleek and regal looking, fur that is like silk to the touch. Very refined and lovable. Patches, on the other hand, has the most adorable looking face my husband and I've ever laid our eyes on, with a black beard, some white on his face, cheeks of both colors and a crack of white fur running down the middle of his forehead in between his eyes that my friend, Gail, claims (swears)is where his brains leaked out. haha! He's got the look on his face that says, "Duh" Haha!:) Though Asti is a disciplined cat and listens to the word, NO, Patches, on the other hand, with no matter how much or what kind of discipline he receives he can't conceive the word, NO. haha! Patches lays in positions that could only make you burst into huge amounts of laughter(Asti has some of his own as well :))...Expand for more
. Now onto the third and most recent addition to our household, Pazzo. We adopted him Nov. 2002, or should I say he adopted us. :) He's tan/white, with a black tale, also has an adorable face. The name Pazzo(supposed to be pronounced "Patzo but we pronounce it "Pozzo) is Italian, it means crazy...it fits him. ;) He's got the type of personality that you're either wanting to love on him or he's driving YOU crazy...lol One thing that drives us nuts, he DROOLS! OHHH, it's so gross! ;) we've never heard of a drooling cat!, but we love him anyway. :) Outside of these things he's absolutely adorable. They are like our kids and we absolutely adore them, can't ya tell? haha!:) I've loads of pictures to prove just how much we love them!:) If you're interested, some day I can tell you how we obtained them into our household...:)
My Kids
My husband has a daughter from a previous marriage, Nicole(my step-daughter). She's a great gal, one, we're very proud of. She's not your typical teenager(only sometimes:)). She's a very intelligent and bright girl, one that receives honors in her class. She lives with her mom, basically across the street from us which makes it easier for my husband to see her more often. I'm proud to call her a daughter of mine...:)
My Job
I'm a CNA(Certified Nursing Assistant) and work for a homecare company. I assist the RN's with homebound patients. I assist with bathing, oral hygiene, skincare, assist w/dressing, assist w/ambulation, including transfer assist, (personal care), etc. I'm the eyes and ears for the RN/case manager. If I observe a problem, no matter what it may be concerned with I would notify the RN/CM. I work with Medicare/Medicaid pt's. There's much more to it than that, but that will give you an overview of my position.
College
Hello, My name is Gail Kehm now. I live in WA. State. I am married with one daughter(step-dtr). I am a CNA and work in homecare. I love working with the elderly, this is definitely where the Lord has led me to be in profession.
