Gail's Story

Life Well, after marriage of 30 years, still in the process of getting rid of the putz (not his legal name). Things have been very tough over the last three years. My son, whom I had homeschooled since first grade decided in April 2003 not to continue, two months before he would have graduated and gotten a PA High School diploma, and has now opted, per his father's encouragement, to just get a GED. Since he did not send any monies to me since April 2004, I could not maintain the house and he moved back in. My son decided to stay in his home in PA. I am in the process of moving back home in DP and living with my parents, but I have stipulated that at 54 I am not going to have a curfew (lol). t isn't any different. Have no clue as to what I am going to do with my life now. It's not like if I was 30! My dad is sick with cancer of the bladder and lungs, so I am helping out there. I lost my best friend, my German Shepherd, Baby, in May 2003. The young girl I had in my custody, left college, got pregnant (but babies are a blessing), and moved back to Virginia to be with her father who is a heroin addict and her mother who is an alcoholic. So much for trying to improve her future. It was very sad to see her go. I miss her and my son terribly. I see absolutely no future for me and am very depressed. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to put in my profile. I'm still disabled because of degenerative disc disease, but medication helps. I don't know how my life turned out the way it has, I only know now that it can turn on a dime.
