Gail's Story
Life
I am currently living in Saginaw, Michigan, and teaching at a regional university (Saginaw Valley State Univ.) As of spring 2005, I've been working here fifteen years and like it a lot. Over the past two years I have had some health problems that hae affected my mobility. I am still working but now (at least for the time being use an Amigo (scooter) to get around.
I got my B.A. (in English) from West. Mich. Univ. -- my
MBA from U-Michigan; and my Ph.D. (in management) from Michigan State. I still have family in Monroe so I get down there about once...Expand for more
a month. I enjoy my job and my life. I lived for two years in Mississippi and worked at a college there. That's what started me on the path into higher education. I've been to Taiwan and to Italy(never thought I'd make it outside the U.S.), seen about 30 of the 50 states (am still working on that project), and enjoy crafts and travel. FOr about two years I've been obsessed with jewelry-making and attend craft and jewelry shows (to buy and to sell) when I get the chance. I'm not who I thought I'd be (I'm not sure who that was, anyway) but I enjoy being me!
