Gail's Story
Life
After high school I attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls. I graduated with a degree in business. I worked for two years in Sioux Falls and hated it so I returned home to go to Black Hills. I got my elementary education credentials and went to Alliance, Neb. to teach for three years. That wasn't for me so I moved to Maryland where my oldest sister lived. I got a teaching job outside of Washington DC and have been here for 20 years. I have been a teacher, a counselor, and now an assistant principal. end my career. I love living here. It's been a great experience to meet so many different people. I am single without children. I have found great fulfillment in spoiling my friends' children and then sending them home. I recently moved from the urban area of Maryland to a small community on the Chesapeake Bay. I live close enough to the bay to walk down by the beach. I thoroughly enjoy sitting by the water and watching the waves. My mom still lives in BF so I get home at least once or twice a year. I am a lousy communicator with old friends but still think fondly of BF.
