Hi Fellow WHS Classmates of 1959!
I feel like I have finally arrived. I am on facebook and have absolutely no idea what I am doing. (ha) Anyway, I thought I would take this opportunity to get in touch with you all. Hopefully, this will go through.
I retired in 2001 after thirty-five years of teaching Wrentham, MA. I moved to Coconut Creek, FL in 2002. Coconut Creek is a lovely little town about ten miles
from Ft. Lauderdale. It used to be part of Pomano Beach. I am only five minutes away from the nearest beach.
I live in a lovely little condo complex with a pool right outside my porch door. Needless to say, I take full advantage of using the pool. When I first arrived
in Coconut Creek, I was a little overwhelmed wondering if I had made the right decision. That feeling quickly disappeared, though, when I discovered a beautiful horseback riding facility tw...Expand for more
o miles away from me. Tradewinds was such a great find because my number one passion in life is horses. I am now in my ninth year as a volunteer at Tradewinds. I groom, saddle, bridle and give out
carrot treats to all my buddies. We have thirty beautiful horses. The staff is wonderful and they are so nice to me. I also get to ride anytime I want.
I have been to Disney World several times, doing my favorite thing, riding on roller coasters. I just turned 70 and feel like a kid again.
I was so sorry I could not attend the 50th Reunion. I was so happy when I
received the notice from you, Donna, that there will be Reunion,Reuniom of the Class of 59. What a great idea! Regarless of what one is doing or how far away one might be, you never forget your class. You're family and I am hoping I can come to this get-together. I hope you all have a great summer!
