Gail's Story
I left PHS - went to UWW for 2 years and then got into the workfield and Pewaukee was behind me.
During college worked as a CNA, then took a course in medical transcription.
At WMH I worked in the Medical Records Department as a medical transcriptionist -- in the days of typewriters!!
I've been in the medical transcription field (now known as healthcare documentation) for 37 years. Currently I am a Quality Improvement Specialist with a national company, working from my home.
I have also been an instructor at a local community college for over 10 years, teaching medical transcription. Connie Berg and Mr. Rogers would be proud! LOL!

t! I do have one son who is married and I'm very proud of him. No grandchildren yet, but do have 4 grand-dogs!
My mom died at the age of 92 in September 2007. My father, currently age 89, lives with me now.
I've gotten into genealogy through the years, off and on-- now more "on" than off! Find it fascinating and addicting!
Also enjoy playing the organ and the Clavinova (an electric piano by Yamaha)when I have time -- not often enough.
I enjoy traveling and wish I could do more of it. Often combine business trips with a mini-vacation - or now genealogy conferences with a mini-vacation.
Left Wisconsin cold and snow in 1984 for a life of sunshine (and heat!) in Florida. The summers suck but the winters are worth it.
