Gail's Story
Married and started a family in 1969. (Two boys, Glenn and Patrick and one girl, Darla.) They are the BEST!!!
Stayed home while the kids were young and then . . . Divorced after 12 years.
Work: Worked in the title insurance industry forever. Did settlements in NJ, for approx. 10 years. Remarried, stayed in NJ for awhile then moved to FL! Managed a title agency in Ft. Myers. We were married for 26 years. Moved to Jacksonville and Wachovia! I am among the 11,000+ recently laid off from Wachovia, so I guess this is a forced retirement. ewarding. Crunching numbers and attending strategy meetings was OK, but it seemed as though we needed a committee for everything. A tad too corporate for this free spirit.
I have a chocolate Aust. Labradoodle, Beca, who sees me through the day and is the most charming, heartwarming friend anyone could hope for. With luck, she'll become a therapy dog - after I breed her and let her have a few pups first. As some of you know, I recently had back surgery YUCK, I'm on the mend and hope to dance at the next reunion. I manage my "therapy" beach walks almost everyday, that helps. I've thoroughly enjoyed catching up with you all. Hope to see you soon.
