Gale's Story
Life
I met my spouse, David Weinstein, at Wake Forest University where I accepted a tenure-track position in the English Department in 1987. He is a political philosopher and was hired by the political science department in 1989.
My Pets
I have always had animals and currently have two Yorkshire Terriers, Harry and Stella. I had, until recently, a magnificent parrot named Geo...Expand for more
rge who had an amazingly vibrant personality. He died recently and left my home all-too quiet.
My Job
I chair the English Department at Wake Forest University. It's a job I love, but very tiring....
My home
I live in Lewisville, North Carolina, a suburb of Winston-Salem, and a fry cry from the Bronx! I live on a river bank and love to grow flowers and fruits and vegetables.
