Galen's Story
Life
Married right out of HS to Beth Wascom, class of 68. Divorced after 25 years, remarried to a wonderful woman, Jenny, and have the most wonderful in-laws in the world. Worked for Southern California Edison for 26 years; then a bunch of us left SCE to help start up a software development firm; sold out to our competitor and became an independent IT, Business consultant, traveled around the country for IBM Global Services, became Sr. IT Project Manager for a software firm in the education industry and now back at SCE as a Manager in 3rd Party Products and Services.
Involved in politics, served as First Standby Officer for Mayor of Banning, worked on Sonny and Mary B...Expand for more
ono's campaign, local, state and federal campaigns and various other political issues.
Have a profitable hobby as a wine consultant for exclusive wines, travel around the country doing half-marathons, that is 13.1 miles, while my wife does full marathons. That's quite a sight to see this old, overweight man swinging those hips doing a racewalk.
Master of Fellowship Masonic Lodge and board member of Yucaipa Masonic Hall Association. Oh, and I now live in Yucaipa, not Banning.
Also, my first wife destroyed all of my yearbooks, along with all of my momentos from my childhood. If anyone could scan my picture from the yearbooks and send to me, I would be very grateful.
