In High School, I was very shy. That is, I did not behave like myself, since I am very gregarious and extroverted by nature. In 1969, we (my parents & siblings) moved to a suburb of Los Angeles, except for my older brother Frank, who remained in Florida. In 1971, I graduated from college with a degree in Art History. I had planned to teach Art in college, but never got around to getting a Master--€”a minimum requirement to teach at the college level. In 1979, my folks moved back to Florida because the climate is closest to the climate of our native Cuba. In 1985, I decided my moved back to Florida, to keep an eye on the folks. Moving back to Florida was like €œcoming home, since the folks here are, on the whole, down-to-earth and friendly--€”at least compared to the people in LA. At the present time, I am retired.
