Gara's Story
Life
I have lived in Las Vegas since 1992,
when I moved here to get a teaching
position. I taught 4th grade for one
year, and have been teaching 6th grade
for the past eight years now. I enjoy
teaching and have had a great time in
Vegas. I am not married, nor do I have
any kids (165 in my classes are enough
for me at this time). My only "kids"...Expand for more
are my two dogs, Kailea and Logan. As of August 2005, I am starting a new position at an elementary school as a literacy specialist, working with small groups of students (all grades, K-5) helping them with reading and writing. It is definitely time for a change after 11 years of teaching sixth grade reading!! I will even have some administrative duties with this new job.
