Did the Westark thing for a year.
Joined the Army the next year. I lost track of just about everybody from good ole Muldrow at that time. :(
Lived in California. 1998-2000
Learned the Korean language.
Lived in Texas. Attended an Intel school. Mar 2000-Aug 2000
Lived in Korea 2000-2004 Went to a couple Korean Universities. Received my Dive Master Cert.
Made a trip to Thailand w/ Nipper (Aaron type)
Before Leaving Korea, I went back to Thailand and Cambodia. I received my SCUBA instructor cert in Thailand. Went back to Korea for a short while and obtained my Ice Diver cert under the ice along a river on the DMZ between DPRK and ROK.
I currently reside just north of Washington DC in Maryland.
I work at the Navy Yard as a Research Branch Chief. I have a view of the Washington Memorial and the capitol from my office :) My job is interesting, lucrative, and very educational, however I have other plans and will not live in DC for too many years to come.
There were a few other short trip...Expand for more
s in between to Holland, Belize, Mexico, and around the US.
My favorite hobby is SCUBA diving/instructing. I don't make money from the instructing, it is a hobby. I like to kayak and Mtn bike and look forward to warmer weather so I can kayak the upper Potomac. My kayak and bikes are anxious to shed some storage dust. I started making Battlebots while I lived in Korea and started competing along the east coast. I've gotten pretty hardcore into robotics. I went to San Fran for the 2005 Nationals competition and hope to return for Robot Olympics this year. I've made a lot of engineer friends as a result of this hobby. My greatest achievement in robot combat was defeating the number one ranked antweight robot built by an engineer from Texas Instruments. Apologies for the boast...
I was in Fayetteville attending the UofA for Mech Eng for the Fall semester of 2005 but I moved back to DC. I hope to get my degree in Korean language through Excelsior in New York soon. Life is hectic and fun these days.
