Garry's Story
Married Sally Brewer (dated on/off since kindergarten so I guess that's not a surprise) in '75 after she returned fr. Australia). Bought a house in W. St. Paul, had a long weekend honeymoon & have been here ever since. 3 kids - Rhea, 39, (3 boys) Jeff, (3 girls) & Garth,(2, 1 of each). Sally was a teacher, stayed at home ~ kids for 12 yrs then went back to co-ordinate special ed. program.now retired & is now hauling me all over the world. Loves to travel. Make up for the no destination honeymoon. The thrill of my life is playing hockey with my sons & curling. Pretty boring to the rest of the world. the talent! Became a Registered Biological Photographer (RBP) & worked at the Children's Hospital/HSC for 35 yrs. as a Medical Photographer/Ed. Video Producer. Retired in '01 & went back 2 yrs. part time. Now most of our time is spent with kids or kids kids, Wellness Centre gym (trying to stay vertical), lunch dates (reward for Wellness workouts), golf (poorly), travelling, or painting the house - another of Sally's hobbies. But I do the painting?!? Still see a few of the kids(?) fr. the old neighbourhood. We all seem to be about the same age. Go figure. Recently became an amateur beekeeper. Well ta ta for now. Sorry, this is becoming a novel.
