Garry's Story
After HS graduation I went to Valencia for a year. Joined the US Army to get the GI bill and go back to college. Decided I liked the Army and stayed for 20 years. Left the Army with three college degrees (1 BA, 1 BS, and 1 MA). Married for 45 years and have three sons and 10 grandkids. Hobbies include walks with my wife, spending time with my grandkids, scuba diving, computers, reading, solar energy, and wine making. While in the Army, I have lived in California, Texas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Georgia, Arizona, Germany, and Louisiana. Since retiring from the Army, I am now back in the Orlando Florida area. In my travels as a US Army officer and as a defense contractor, I have been able to work and visit all over the continental US, Hawaii, Alaska, Germany, Korea, Japan, Sweden, and Libya. With the onset of the Covid pandemic, my wife and I decided to retire to spend time with the grandkids.
