Garth's Story
Life
Hi, Well, the Internet revolution has certainly made it interesting to find former classmates. If you looked and found my bio feel free to email me.
I'm an architect, living (again) in Manhattan Beach (since 1992), and my wife and I have two 15 year old daughters. We enjoy movies/plays/comedy houses. liberal (and sometimes moderate) politics and campaign events, dinners with our friends, horseback riding and lessons for the girls (we have 2 horses), and traveling. We are Internet junkies, work with lots of charities and go to their functions, and "deal" with 2 growing adolescents.
We are pretty active with bowling (me since age 10), dancing, and just about any kind of interesting event. We throw barbeques and sometimes big parties, and enjoy our place in the Hill Section.
If you have an interest in design, you can see some of the things I do on the Net at gARThdesigns. By all means feel free to email me and renew old times. Best, Garth Sheriff, AIA

I went to the School of Architecture at USC, and grtaduated with a 5 year degree in 1969. During my time there I participated in the Social Committee, where we promoted such on campus concerts as Deep Purple and halftime events at the football games. In my fourth and fifth years I participated in the Idlewild Student Leadership Conference and the USC Experimental College where I taught urban planning. I joined a group called the Kennedy Action Corps after Robert Kennedy's death, and we painted houses for the poor in South Central Los Angeles. From that group I formed several lifelong friendships with folks such as Burt Wilson (class of 1954), Jeff Paris (Class of 1969) and Judi Loomis-DiBari (Phi Beta Kappa and Class of 1969)
In off hours I lived in an apartment, enjoyed get-togetrhers with architectural classmates at Alpha Rho Ki fraternity, and hung around friends at the famous (infamous) Mardette apartments.
