Garth's Story
WOW - I've been away for so long I don't even know where to begin. After graduating from OSU in '88 I worked for a short time at the Klickitat County Planning Department in south central Washington state before taking a job with the Defense Mapping Agency in St. Louis, MO. After six years of that, I lateraled to a job at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. Two years later I was headed for Okinawa, Japan for a three year stint. n Navy Yard. I then volunteered for an 18 month tour in Manama, Bahrain in the Middle East! That only lasted a year before I jumped at the chance to return to Okinawa. During that time I managed to squeeze in a few trips to England, Wales, Ireland, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Malta, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Djibouti, Seychelles, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea and Hawaii. I even "Crossed the Line" in January 2003 and became a "Shellback". Ask your navy buddies why you are still "Wogs".
