Life Update
July 21,2006 - Another reminder from Classmates to review stuff. Life continues to be interesting, but hardly what I would have predicted in June 1971. My first six years after college (Alabama) were spent teaching high school in West Orange. The next 8 were at Prudential and then into the world of banking - Chase, Dime and most recently GreenPoint. Yeah, mergers are great career stoppers!! I'm now consulting for a bank and an insurance company in Puerto Rico. After two years in this business the client list is finally starting to expand. My wife Jo Ann has actually put up with me for over 26 years (and counting). Our son graduated from Bowdoin in May 2004 and became the third generation in the family to teach - he was at Delbarton for two years and recently accepted a career change job in Boston with Deloitte. Our daughter will start her second year at Gettysburg College in the Fall. Still in NJ (after all these years), but getting the itch to move. I guess pre-retirement is beckoning.

he corporate world in January, this time with Wachovia telecommuting between NJ and NC. Daughter Catherine is off to Australia in July for a semester abroad.
November 10, 2008 - Just noticed my timeline now includes Marylawn of the Oranges. Still wondering how the nuns let me in!?! Looks like Jo Ann has been playing with my profile. Just back from China and trying to figure out when my current job will end since Wells Fargo has purchased Wachovia. Perhaps I'll finally finish the masters I put off back in the 80s.
June 7, 2010 - So I'm a little slow updating this stuff. Finished my MA in Asian Studies on May 15 and hoping to find an adjunct teaching job at a local college. It appears the corporate world is a thing of the past. (Kind of getting into this academic thing, though...)
December 15, 2011 - Only 18 months between updates! Enjoying my re-invention as a college professor at Seton Hall University. Son, Joe, was married on October 1 - I guess I really am getting old and will soon need to deal with the question of "what do you want to be when you grow up?!?"
