More about Gary:"Spent my first 20 years as a grownup as a sworn police officer for the cities of Newport Beach and Placerville. Spent over 14 years of that time working in undercover capacities and assignments with SWAT Teams and Investigations.
Prior to retiring, I completed my Masters Degree in education and taught classes at the local High Schools as well as the Community College for nine years.
After retiring I returned to the full-time work force managing Special Investigation Units for Insurance companies and Third Party Administrators on a nationwide basis. Our primary function was to investigate fraudulent workers compensation claims as well as liability claims. We worked closely w...Expand for more
ith law enforcement and prosecuted those who committed fraud. This lasted for close to ten years.
My last career was as the Director of Security for the Security Departments of two International Armored Transport Companies as well as their Cash Vaults. I traveled throughout the U.S., Central and South America and retired for the last time in 2011. We moved valuables around the world. You name it, we transported it.
I'm happily married to Alice and we spend a lot of our time traveling. We spend time in Baja a couple times a year and have travelled extensively abroad over the past ten years. This year we're taking our motor home cross country and checking off the last few states we need to visit in order to knock one more item off the bucket list.
I have four daughters: Brittany, Ashley, Courtney and Keeley. They are all smarter than their dad and much better looking. Wish they lived closer to me.
My Dad, Robert Black, can still kick my butt and outrun me. He just turned 92, still exercises daily, drives his motor home and spends 6 months a year camping between Arizona and Oregon.
I enjoy travel, most outdoor activities, and like to fish.".
