Most of the people knew me as the GEEK(in alaska). No I didn't turn out like Mr. Microsoft. Been married(2) and have 2 boys 16, 17 Nowadays I am a Mechanic/drag racer. I wondered what it would be like to go back to school. Well I am now attending University of Phoenix online for a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. I have forgotten more than I ever learned in High School. It's tough but it can be done. I am not planning on twisting wrenches the rest of my life. Work and school? Don't fool yourself it is easily done. I just wish there was a little more time in a day.
Since the above was written a lot has changed. I no longer mechanic because of a back surgery in mar. 2007. I do however still crew on the race car just light work though. School has been put on hold for a short period of time. And I now mechanic on a lot smaller scale. I have been working at a computer shop for the last year and it looks like I will possibly be the owner of this store within the next 2 years. And now I am a grandpa. a grandfather? Me personally back then I would have said not only no but hell no to being a father or grandfather.
It has been a while since I update this. Since the last update my grandmother died 4 years ago and have gotten remarried and have 3 grandkids now. My boys will be 30 and 29 this year. A lot on the Job front has changed also. Now you people that knew me or knew of me sit down for this. For the past 2 1/2 yrs I have been working at a Drug and Alcohol Screening facility. Been married for 3 years now to a crazy yankee. Have to be at least half crazy to put up with me. Still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. When I figure it out I will let ya'll know.
Been a while since I been on here to update things. I have had 2 really significant losses over th last couple years du to COVID. First long time friend, owner of the company I work for,,and our race car sponsor: Marty Petsonk.2 years ago. Sept. 2021. lost my oldest son, Shaun, to COVID. Still having issues with that but as they say time heals. 16 years ago lost my step son RJ. He was shot in his own apartment in Dallas. I have 1 son left, Joshua. and 3 grandkids. You are not supposed to outlive your kids.
