Gary's Story

Former NASA Space Shuttle Engineer, and War Game designer to help save our servicemen's lives. I am an experienced business professional in the areas of high technology and media. Throughout my career, I have worked for and consulted with many world class organizations. These organizations include Color Print Labs; University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas; The State of Texas; Tandy Corporation; General Dynamics; E Systems; Johnson and Johnson Medical; Electronic Data Systems (EDS); Keane Consulting; Robert Half Technologies, IBM and CSC. I have also worked as a consultant for other minor firms. In my career I have participated in many exciting and innovative ventures throughout my career. I am the creator and father of the modern interactive war game simulator, designing the first such system at General Dynamics in Fort Worth Texas. The simulation was subsequently demonstrated for the United States Joint Chiefs. Every war game simulator in the world used today by the US military is based on my original interactive war game simulator concept. I also worked on the development of the JSTARS Research Simulation Program. I was a member of the F-16 and F-111 Telemetry Team, and Video design engineer for the DEA on its surveillance aircraft. I then worked with NASA for many years, designing systems for the US Space Shuttle Space flight program. I was the Video Engineer for the NASA Classified Shuttle flight video documentation team. I was the sole designer of the War Game Simulator for the U.S. Army War College under the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command. I also designed a virtual reality system using computer aided design to look for simulation of design problems before the actual project was built, and to market the products later using the system. nese ChemVIP website, I developed an E-Commerce web design which resulted in “Best in Class” award by Computer World magazine in 2003. The program also earned $1 billion of income for Celanese Chemical. I have worked for IBM the makers of Lotus Notes as a IBM Security Delivery Specialist and System Management Specialist. I am now at Computer Science Corporation as a Lotus Notes administrator, member of the broadcast team, network person, and GCAR. I also enjoys teaching. I have taught courses in Lotus Notes and other applications for industrial application. I often utilized my degree in Education to guide me in the development and delivery of my courses. I have written manuals and teacher’s course guides to help others teach software systems in a more efficient manner. Also, my early career experience as a chief television engineer and production director has continuously helped me to develop courses in media and interactive content. I am the author of three books, one you can find at Amazon.com. My many Awards include International Whos Who of Information Technology, Awarded Cambridge Who™s Who of Executives. Professionals and Entrepreneurs 2008, 2010, 2011, Accredited Master Photographer 2010, International Freelance Photographers “ Freelance Photography Hall of Fame 2010, and International Freelance Photographers “ Lifetime Distinction of Honor for Photographic Achievement 2011. I am an artist and I paint Space Scape using digital media something very uncommon. I hold a Bachelors of Science in General Science and Education from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth Texas. I have studied Computer Design Electronics and Broadcast Electronic at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth. I also have attended industrial schools in Administration and Development of both Lotus Notes and Microsoft Products, along with various broadcasting production and engineering schools, and seminars. My continuous education includes attending schools of photography, computer graphic art, computer graphics design, web design, and other schools that he finds in my ever-changing interest.
