Life
Once out of high-school went to work for Anderson Survey Co., in KC, worked there 11 years. Moved to Chicago Illinois area and begin working for Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (High-Energy Research Facility) in 1989, moved to Dallas Texas area in 1991 to work on The Superconducting Super Collider(another high-energy research lab, stayed in Texas and co-owned a small precision measurement and land-surveying company. Returned to Chicago and FNAL, to continue work in the metrology and precise measurement department for Fermi Lab. Plan on retiring from the laboratory here and posssibly returning to KC, or Missouri then. Things are too expensive up here!
Have had 3 relationships, 11years with first in KC, 5 years with second in Dallas (deceased), nine years with the third partner, too young but a great person. Now single and life is simple, currently dating around. Ho...Expand for more
lding up pretty well for 60 yrs of age.
My interests still include art, gardening, have saltwater aquariums, chamelions, birds, Grow orchids, go mountain-biking, back-packing, hiking, and riding my Harley Davidson V-Rod when I can. I bought a 100 plus year old Queen Anne here in St. Charles Illinois, a money pit (stiil rehabing it) but a great old home in a small quiet river town outside of Chicago.
Nov. 2015 Change of plans starting phased retirement this summer going to a 3 day week, then 25hr wk, and final year 20hr. Will leave Fermi Lab with a consultant position whereas I can return to the area and work up too 1100 hrs a year. This will all work into my current plans to retire to Colorado and NO not for the gange!!! LOL, I'm in fantastic shape still hiking at elevations up to 14000ft and loving it. Housing is expensive but taxes there are 70% less than here in Illinois.
