Justine's Story
Life
After Driscoll I attended DePaul University, earning a B.A. in Communications in '89. I worked for Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center until '92 as a public relations writer/editor, then worked for a medical education company in Deerfield before joining Pitman-Moore, a veterninary medicine manufacturer, where I started a career in sales, selling suture material and anesthesia to veterinarians, along with flea and tick products for dogs and cats. nior sales rep in 1997, and have been there ever since discussing insulin therapy for diabetic patients with primary care physicians, and helping introduce new diabetes products to those providers. I married Gary Hewerdine in 1992, and moved to Jacksonville, FL for my sales job in 1996--we love it here! In May 2004 we welcomed a daughter, Helene Margaret Hewerdine--the love of our lives, and have been happy with her and our three dogs, Rock and Bailey, boxers, and Lacy, our 12-year-old American Eskimo spitz. Life is good!
