Gary's Story

Life Went to Va. Tech, BS Forestry 1983. Spent 6 years working in the forest industry in the Deep South, married a girl I met in forestry school at Tech. Two kids (Katie 1992 and Bailey 1994). Moved back to Floyd County, Va. Divorced in 1996. Remarried in 2002. Michelle and I own a beautiful farm in Floyd County with a 1913 Victorian farmhouse. My girls and ...Expand for more
their Mom live only 20 minutes away, and we have them a lot. I own a forestry and wildlife consulting firm, Ridgerunner Forestry, LLC (since 1988) serving SW VA and parts of WV and NC. Play gentleman farmer and coach my girls in the fine art of softball when I'm not out looking at somebody's tract of timberland. Went back to Tech and completed an MBA in 2000.
