Gary's Story
Hope everyone in the Class of '85 is well. I am the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Kannapolis, just north of Charlotte (though I live in Huntersville near Lake Norman). After high school I attended NC State for a long time (I really enjoyed it!!) Received my Masters Degree and met my wife - a Carolina grad - I guess she had to come to State to find a real man!! beautiful 9 year old girl (going on 29) and a cute 3 year old blond haired blue-eyed all boy. If you're every passing by Kannapolis stop by, or pull up our website and the P&R Dept and drop me an email. I come to Raleigh often for either business or attending State games (diehard Wolfpacker); oh yea - Mom and Dad still live there too.
