Gary's Story

Hello everyone! I live on a cattle farm in Hot Springs, VA with my lovely wife, Denise and four of our five children. Jonathan, the oldest is married to Alison and both are in graduate school at McNeese State University. Nicholas runs our farm, and Hannah is a sophmore at the local community college. Leah is in Alleghany High School and Daniel is in fourth grade. My day job is in Pocahontas County Schools in WV. I teach deaf and hard of hearing students, and I also serve as the county educational audiologist and speech-language as well as reading specialist. ...Expand for more
On weekends and school holidays I test and treat children for auditory processing disorders and offer reading therapy. My private practice is located in Covington, VA. I just began serving as supply lay pastor for Sinking Spring Presbyterian Church, just 8.5 miles south of Hot Springs on Route 220. Currently, I am taking online classes at Dubuque Seminary to become a commissioned lay pastor (CLP). Come visit our church if you are up this way. Worship services are Sunday mornings at 11:30 AM. I hope all of you are doing well! Please let me hear from you! gary :)
