Gary's Story
Life
I am currently working hard as a Nurse in Chicago and trying my best to maintain. I have plans and aspirations to open a daycare for seniors with a few of my nurse friends later this year. I have always been community-minded and Nursing has taught me a great deal about compassion for my fellow man/woman. Seeing that there is a growing need for the elderly to be cared for properly, I view opening a senior day care center as a way to give back and be profitable at the same time.
I am currently divorced with two sons, age 14 and 13. Seems like yesterday I was still in high school.."clowning" and...and now I am responsible for raising two teenage boys...go figure. Where did the time go?.. Anyway, at this time I have no current love life...hardly time for it...between working, special projects, and my "shorties" and oh yeah sleeping {I love sleeping...sleeping is go...Expand for more
od}..I can't find the type of woman I want and need in my life. But I do have a female "friend-with-benefits" or "homey-lover-friend" as they say...strictly for "maintenance"...ya know.
Man, I miss St.Louis quite a bit. I come to visit about 2-3 times a year usually, but hardly ever see anyone I used to know like back-in-the-day. I guess everybody is off doing their own thing. But St. Louis seems different, a lot different...to me anyway. I have been living in Chicago since about two years after graduating high school except for four years I returned to "the Lou" to go to Nursing School between 1993 and 1997. Chicago grew on me, and is like a second hometown since I been here so long. A lot of people I knew, I found out they went to places like Atlanta, Florida, Texas, or Cali (warm places)...I got stuck in Chi-town. Once you get use to the winters, its cool..Chicago is live.
