Gary's Story

Update July6,2014 Life has certainly taken a twist for me......after nearly 20 years of marriage, my wife and i are getting divorced. The children are living with me and I am quickly adapting to my role of father, mother, counselor, and disciplinarian (less of the last) LOL I sold the TheraPearl business in 2014 and am involved in marketing a new water called Rethink. Checkout the website at DrinkRethinkWater.com and let me know what you think. I love the "game" of building small companies and selling them to larger companies that can take them to the next level. I guess I'm "looking" for the next romantic interest but certainly not in a hurry. Drop me a note if you've taken the time to read this...... will surely respond! Gary Update February 16,2011 Family and business are doing well. My daughter, Taylor, just turned 15 this week.......how can she be older and I'm still 39! It seems that "Father Time" keeps marching along no matter how much we try to slow it down. We are heading up to Deep Creek Lake this afternoon for some skiing and relaxation. Being President's Day week-end, schools are closed until next Tuesday allowing us a nice long week-end. I recently heard that one of our classmates, Tom Lotoczky, passed away some time ago. e known about it as I would have been honored to attend his memorial. Tom was a great friend that stuck by me many times when he probably shouldn't have. I think of him often, especially when I hear the song "How Can I be Sure" by the Young Rascals............many memories associated with that tune! It's pretty funny how the aging process develops many new emotions and feelings about life and how we've lived it. Most of us are in the back half of our life and I'm sure thoughts of how we've lived our lives are common. I teach my children about integrity, honesty, doing the right thing, and perseverance. It's a shame that those words didn't mean as much to me back then..........many relationships may have developed differently than they did. This probably sounds like a "poor me" paragraph, but it's far from that. Given all the adversity life has thrown at me, I am the one of the luckiest guys on the planet! I just think about the missed opportunities and the relationships that were damaged for lack of the very things I try to live and teach my children today. Check out our website at TheraPearl.com and let me know what you think. We are having fun bringing innovation and new functionality to a category that has been status quo for many years. Drop me a line! Gary
