Life
After retiring in 2004, I bought a 30' cabin cruiser and spend a lot of time in the summer crusing around with my wife, kids and grandkids in the San Juan Islands. In the winter, my wife Sandi and I travel to as many places in the world as we can possibly get to. We have visited over 30 countries and 5 continents so far and we are looking for more. s than it is right now. Sure beats the days that we spent living on the desert! You couldn't get me back there for any reason.
Workplace
I retired in 2004 as a vice president of Siemens after 37 years of service to the company. I had a reasonably successful business career, however, the best day I ever had at work doesn't come close to worst day that I have had in retirement.
