Gary's Story
Hi everyone, First of all whoever is in the senior picture titled Gary Smith is not me. I'm the one that hung out with John Payne, Jim Riley and Ronnie Franklin amongst others.
Sorry it's been awhile since I checked this site (over 9 years. I don't even remember signing up for it but an email came this morning and I pad the membership fees and immediately took the stroll down memory lane.
I'm sorry I missed the re-unions. Would have definitely liked to go to it,.
A little BIO here: I'm still married to Robin, been 34 years. We are living in Reno. Nevada where we have been since 1978. We had three daughters who are ...Expand for more
all grown and out on their own. My oldest daughter just made me a grandfather for the first time. A grandson. Pretty happy about that.
I am retired twice now and working on a third. I retired from the police department here in Reno after 25 years. I also put 20 years in the military, Army and Air force national guard. Currently I am finishing a hitch with the US department of Veteran Affairs Police department as an investigator. I retire with a federal pension in March of next year. Then no more police work or any other kind of work.
March 2015 Just retired from the Feds. Doing some traveling and enjoying retirement.
