Gary's Story
Life
I entered the Air Force prior to graduation. As a matter of fact I got leave to come home for graduation. After the service I married my high school sweetheart, Terry, and moved to Nevada. We lived in Las Vegas until I was hired by the Henderson Police Dept. in 1979. We moved to Henderson where Terry and I were raising our Daughter and Son. In 1984 Terry and my son were killed by a drunk driver. I was also in the vehicle and had been injured.
In 1989 I moved back to St. Louis. In 1992 I married Ruth, another wonderful Missouri girl, and moved back to Henderso...Expand for more
n, NV. I went back to work for the City of Henderson and was medically retired in 2006 with a bad ticker. My daughter lives in Missouri.
Unfortunately Ruth still has to work so we take at least one short trip a month in our 5th wheel. Eventually we want to see all of this wonderful country of ours.
We both love hockey and in the winter will go to California to catch the Blues west coast swing. We also have season tickets to our ECHL team the Las Vegas Wranglers.
I made it back for the 10th reunion but have missed the 20th and 30th. Maybe I'll make the 40th?
