Gary's Story
After graduating I went on to Chaffey JC and went to work at General Dynamics for the next 10 years, working nights. Living in Alta Loma then moved to Silver Lakes in the High Desert in 84, then in 2016 we moved to Apple Valley to be a little closer to civilization! I worked in the Electrical sign trade from 78 until 2012, with 24 years of that time at Ontario Neon! After I retired I worked a seasonal job for Nextera electrical generating in the Solar Fields! I have 3 sons from 2 marriages and from my wife of 23 years plus I have 2 stepsons and 4 stepdaughters and a total of 20 grandkids with another do end ...Expand for more
of this year and my wife first great granddaughter also due around the same time! I’m still riding motorcycles, ( I currently have 3) which I started doing in 1965, a have no plans on quitting anytime soon! We don’t travel much due to my wife’s health but we do visit the children that are not too far away, like San Francisco and Havasu City! I wasn’t overly popular in school as I went straight from school to work starting in my sophomore year but I loved my time playing drums in the marching band all four years at MHS as it was my main chance to socialize! My favorite classes were Auto Shop and Marching Band
