Gary's Story

After VNHS I worked and attended Valley College...Sept '61 went in the Army attended OSU while stationed in Oklahoma. Probably the first Samurai member to be wounded in Nam (twice) Came home in '64 and went back to work for Von's Groc. Married Vicki in Dec '66 and started a family/house/cat. Attended various out reach programs to increase my education. (Uncle Sam paid all of it) Moved fr...Expand for more
om the SFV to Valencia in '77 so my children could get a better education than I received, and they did! Managed Von's stores and eventually Alpha Beta's for 20 years. Retired in 2003, now I can really enjoy life and do the things I've always wanted to....life is very good! My daughter lives close so we can keep track of our two grandsons. Our Son Christopher lives/works in Austin, Texas.
