Gary's Story
After graduating, I hired on with the Boeing Company and after 38 years I retired from the company in 1999. Most of my time was spent as a numerical control programmer and the last 14 years I spent in management of various programming groups in the Seattle area. I met my wife Sharon Steele from Shelton at a dance in McCleary in 1962 and we got married a year later. Sharon worked for Good Samaritian Hospital in Puyallup until 1997 when she took a disability retirement due to health problems. We have three children, two boys and a ...Expand for more
girl and six grandchildren. Sharon passed away after a long history of medical problems in 2007. Sharon and I have lived in Puyallup since 1978 and I plan to spend the rest of my life here. Lately I have been traveling around searching for old Rock & Roll posters from various ballrooms and halls from late 50's and 60's. I have found a few but it has been a blast just meeting old friends and meeting new ones. Networking with other poster collectors seems to be the key. I hope to add a couple of Evergreen Ballroom posters soon.
