I went to cocopah and Chaparral, graduating in 1976. I then attended ASU for a year before stopping to work full-time for a couple of years. I then went back to school at NAU and graduated in 1982 with degrees in finance and marketing. I got my MBA in accounting and information systems from CSU Fullerton while working for Boeing as an international auditor. I fell in love with sailing, so after 5 years at Boeing I quit and became the captain of a 75 foot three-masted schooner on a trip from. CA to Mexico to Hawaii to the PNW. Came home and became CFO of start-up healthcare consulting firm. Spent the next 20 years in financial management before starting my own consulting firm. I'm divorced with two daughters and now am retired on my sailboat in Long Beach. I love to travel and in the past year have purchased a small cabin cruiser in the Netherlands and a beachfront home close to my brother's in Nicaragua.
