Gary's Story

I graduated from Stuart Jr. High. At linclon I played the trombone in the band and tried to play a little football. I don't remember much from Lincoln except for some bright sunny days at the Lincon park playing freesbie. I was to graduate from Lincoln in 1973. Instead, during the summer of ’72, I took the GED and passed. Soon, I was in the Air Force and seeing the world. My specialty was aircraft and structural rescue. I did not have to go to Viet Nam. he summer. The tundra holds billions of flowers and they seem to come out on the same day. I got to see a lot of New Mexico and too much of North Dakota. I got out of the Air Force in ’76 and went to college, met a girl, got married, quit college and got a job. Fourteen years later we divorced. I went to college part time and earned my BA. I got a job with a great employer and they paid for my MBA. I work with Supply Chain ERP software systems nowdays. I met a great lady and we got married and have been together 21 years. I have lived in southern California for the last 40 years.
