Gary's Story
Life
Immediately after high school I went to work as a technical artist for Warner National in Syracuse. I joined the US Navy in December of 1960. Was trained as an aircraft hydraulics mechanic. Spent most of my time stationed at Brunswick Maine. Was discharged in Dec. 64. Returned to Lpool, Married and went to work at Rollway Bearing in the tool design dept. mt. Divorced in 1985, Took an early retirement in 1989 and Went to work as manager and head guide for Adventure Discovery Tours, a whitewater river company in the Grand Canyon and on the San Juan river in Utah. I bought a sailboat, sailed it to Mexico and have spent the last ten winters there. I left the river co. in 96 and purchased a 115 yr old house with my significant other in the mountains of far northern CA. where we live with our 12yr old daughter Lydia. Remodeling the house is now my full time job.
