Gary's Story
Life
Retired in November 03. Since then, my wife Linda and I have been traveling about 4 or 5 months a year in our RV. We spend 3 months every year in Montana and Wyoming; flyfishing, hiking, photography, 4x4ing back roads and visiting friends.
Our favorite places to visit/camp/hike has been Yellowstone, Yosemite and Zion National Parks as well as the Eastern Sierra's and the California coast.
When at home I work on my 72 Plymouth and take it to the drag strip as well as attending a lot of car shows. Friday nights are spent at Bob's Big Boy in Northridge with the muscle car gang.

otography, four wheeling, camping, I've been known to do some target shooting and backpacking.
More Life stuff
After school I went to work for GTE. Got drafted in May 68 into the USMC, immediately signed up in the Army for 6 years. Passed all the tests and physical and was scheduled for OCS and tentatively Fort Rucker as a pilot. Turn it down after AIT when I got my orders for OCS. Sent to Vietnam in 69 where I volunteered as a door gunner (210th Battalion - 25 Aviation Group). Also spend some time as an Air Traffic Controller at III Corp Long Thanh, RVN, Air Field. Left the military and went back to work at GTE where I retired in 2003.
