Gayle's Story
Attended Long Beach State after high school. Married Gene Whitlach in 1967. He was in Air Force so moved to North Carolina. Followed him around - Bakersfield, Santa Barbara, New Jersey, Missouri, Texas, Philippines, Utah, and Idaho. Divorced after 35 years.
Have multiple degrees in IT, education, and PBS. Worked in education as teacher, special Ed, principal, teacher/trainor in Internatinal Schhol, and coordinator of programs in Missouri, Texas, California, Utah, Idaho, the Philippines and Guam (military contract). center and my behavior management working as adolescent coordinator in a behavioral health hospital.
Founder and Director of Treasure Coast Mission Coalition in Florida. We work with existing missions by providing resources ( people, things, and money). We sponsor children, build houses, participate in food distributions, give faith lessons and train individuals and groups in sustainable living practices and leisure activities. Currently raising funds for "vented" wood stoves. Favorite mission fields at this time are Guatemala, Philippines and Alaska.
Three children live in Bakersfield, Idaho and Florida. Have 5 grandchildren.
