Gayle's Story
After graduation I treaveled with my family across country in and RV for over a month. After returning I worked with 2 friends from Minuteman for just over a year. I then took an Assistant Manager position at Friendly's in Sudbury, MA. I left that job shortly before my younger brother passed away from Leukemia in March of 1980. He was 14. I left my job due to burnout and to spend more time with Glen before he was gone. After some rest I went to work for my dad in his machine shop. I worked with him for about 10 years, in the machine shop, machine and tool sale and running his True Value hardware store. In 1988 I took a job in the fifnacial department of St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton,MA. Shortly after starting my new job, I got married. ed my own in home Child Care business. In 1995 my now ex-husband decided that he should never have been married. Not even going to go into any of that mess. Since then I have continued to run my business, have had several roommates. Some great, some ok, some really bad. In 2000 I started the journey of adoption ( yep, I was already 40) Finally in February of 2006 I was blessed with the birth of Isabella, In December of the same year her adoption was finalized. And that brings us to now. As you can see from our photos, she is the is the light of my life, and my greates joy. The wait was well worth it,no matter how old I am. She is keeping me young, and for the foreseable future I will be busy raising her and loving our time together. She is a great kids and has a very giving soul. She is truly a blessing to the lives she touches.
