Gayle's Story
Needed to update this after many years: After raising my children in Westford (2) and spending some of those years both teaching part time and heavily involved in the community I moved to the north shore. I had the world's most amicable divorce and have been living on the north shore ever since. He and I have remained friends and kept the children first. I am part owner of a bookstore and spend a lot of other time painting, traveling and working on other projects. Volunteered in Volunteer Lawyers Project at court house in Boston assisting tenants who were being evicted and needed help understanding their rights and someone to stand with them at their hearing. graduate. Spent at least another two at other art schools. Very fun. My undergraduate in business was grueling but I've seen it's benefits in my life. Wish I had focused on the arts and humanities more however but have made up for that. My children live in Somerville and love it and are amazing and yes I do boast about my children because that's where all of my physical and emotional energies went and they've taught me far more than anyone or anything could. Sometimes I had to learn the hard way. Now that the college bills are over I spend a bit extra on travel for all of us.
My early life was difficult but there was a lot of good too. Andover schools were a great beginning for me and I'll always be grateful for that.
