Gayle's Story
Upon graduation from the Great Class of 1965, I attended Contra Costa College in San Pablo for a while and then thought it would probably be more Âfun to work and have money!! I went to work at what was then Pacific Telephone and Telegraph in Oakland as a 411 operator and then back to the Richmond office as a Service Rep.
Moved to Oregon maybe around 1974 or so where I went back to school. I had always wanted to be a nurse, so I got my degree in nursing and worked in a hospital as a head nurse on a general medical floor, worked in a plasma center and in health care offices.
Moved back to California in 1981.
I have two children. The oldest  a son who is still trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up and my daughter, an elementary school ...Expand for more
teacher who recently got her Masters in Teaching Leadership.
I have worked for many years in Office Administration in the education field.
I enjoy trying to stay healthy - walking and yoga are part of my routine. I enjoy a little travel now and then, too.
Life is peaceful and fun and each morning it is good to wake up and put feet to floor and enjoy the day. The years and the experiences have brought me to this place Âand it isn'Ât all that bad !!!
Classmates sparked great memories and helped me make some important (re)connections in my life and to meet some new friends, too, when it first came to light for all of us. Seems now lots of folks - especially from the class of '65 have drifted on to other things. Life is short - get in touch and stay in touch, okay!
