Living in Buffalo, Texas. Married to a wonderful man, coming up on our 29th anniversary. Met him in a honky tonk in Austin. Wasn't lucky enough to have kids. We do have 3 dogs. I do get to claim his grandkids as mine. Our granddaughter is an A&M grad (2010) -- Gig 'Em Aggies! The grandson attended Sam Houston State -- Go BearKats! We have a beautiful great-grandson, Torin. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BBA. After graduation, went to work in Dallas for Southwestern Bell -- followed Mom and Dad's footsteps into telecommunications. Moved to Austin in '83 to open the first AT&T office there. After 20+ years in telecommunications was laid off -- bummer. Went to work in software development for 18 months -- laid off again -- phooey!. Decided to leave Austin and moved to Huntsville, Texas. We bought a barber shop for Gary to "play" in (a GREAT money maker) and I worked in the IT Department for the prison system -- hated working for the state -- too much red tape to get anything done efficiently. After 3 1/2 years there left and moved back to Central Texas -- I missed "home". Worked at Southwestern University in the Admission Office in Georgetown for 7+ years. Quit my job on June 3, 2013, sold our home in 2 days, packed up and moved to Buffalo, TX. Love the ...Expand for more
