Gene's Story

Education: After Hamilton I attended The University of Vermont (at Melrose, aka LACC). Then The Art Center College of Design, following graduation I became a part time (1 day a week) Adjunct Professor in Pasadena for 26 years. ‘Branded Spaces’.
Life: married my 1st wife Louise (still married) 1979 and we have one daughter (Ivana Rose) who currently works with me, design and management.
Highlights: formed a branding, graphic design and marketing firm at 18 (Bramson+Assoc). Became one of the largest corporate and medical business to business firms dealing internationally with Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, American Hospital, iolab, Karl Storz, (Germany), Adventist, and many IOL manufacturers; plus many non medical such as AT&T, Isuzu Motors, Universal Studios, Fox, TRW, GE (UK), Tony Roma’s, Lawry’s Restaurants and others.
Also formed, simultaneously, an international architectural design studio with projects in Israel (2 of the largest private residences in the Rova, Old City Jerusalem working closely with the historic council), Japan (many cities and prefectures, shopping centers, high end supermarkets and formed...Expand for more
a partnership with Mitsubishi Metal Mining Division to design and develop USA 2x4 homes ‘California Dream Homes’.
Designed a tiny synagogue (pro bono) for the small Jewban community in Santa Clara, (central) Cuba.
Two homes and private golf course surround in Malibu Colony for Jerrold Perrencio.
Designed The Manor, Aaron & Candy Spelling Residence in Holmby Hills.
Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Beverly Hills plus other restaurants and new concepts for Lawry’s.
Other private residences, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Newport Beach, LA, with emphasis on historic and restoration as well as new.
Formed GLB Properties and specialize in investing, rehabbing and managing vintage 20’s & 30’s income properties, apartments and commercial properties.
HairCare endeavor called AfGrow.
Formed BB Atlantic to develop an affordable housing community in Southern California and another semi-affordable/market mix project in the north DFW area.
Like to travel.

Vintage cars (still have my 65 Mustang from high school days). But none for show.
