Gene's Story
In June of 1955, I received a degree of Associate in Applied Science (AASD) from SUNY at Alfred, NY. In June, I initially accepted a job offer and joined the NY Telephone Co in Elmira, NY. However, in December 1955, I received and accepted a better job offer from IBM.

orea. I retired from IBM in 1988 as a senior executive. I joined Lockheed in January 1989 and held similar senior positions for another five years.
Final retirement occurred in 1998 when we moved to Jeffersonton, VA.
I married Joanne Coombs in July 1958, in Hornell, NY. We have four children and 10 grandchildren. In November of 2015, we completed a downsizing move to a condominium located in Ashburn, VA.
