Genelle's Story
It's been a busy 47 years. Has it really been that long? I was married for 43 years and lost my husband in 2006. We had two children when we were young then adopted a pair of teenage sisters in 2002 after we retired. The sisters are now grown as well. I had them by myself for a little while.
After my husband passed away I started remodeling my house and that is still in process.
I taught high school and community college for 35 years and enjoyed teenagers more than I enjoyed being one. I think it is a...Expand for more

Now that I am retired I am dabbling in writing for publiction. I have four delightful grandchildren, ages 5-18. I have two cute shih tzu's who are great companions and am taking care of two of the younger girls' dogs and their cat while they get their feet on the ground.
For any of you who knew my parents, my father passed away in 1992, but I just lost Mother in January of 2009.
Life is good. I am thankful for the relationships I have had and those that continue.
